The centerpiece that makes it a reception
A backyard party becomes a wedding reception the moment a real floor goes down. Our dark walnut dance floors install in interlocking sections to whatever footprint your guest list needs, and in Mount Dora they’ve anchored waterfront receptions near Gilbert Park, tented weddings by Lake Gertrude, and anniversary parties in the Country Club — the floor photographs beautifully against string lights, which matters in a town this photogenic.
Sizing by the only number that counts
Plan roughly 3 square feet per guest — not everyone dances at once. Fifty guests: a 12×12. A hundred: 15×18 or 18×18. A packed quinceañera where everyone will be up for the surprise dance: size up a section. If you’re between sizes, call 407-454-1320 with the guest count and we’ll size it straight — a too-small floor is a crowd, a too-big one is an empty stage.
Installation is always included — and it’s the whole job
A dance floor is only as good as its base. Installation and removal come with every floor, and on Mount Dora’s gentle grades that means our crew checks level and shims the substructure before a single section clicks in — a floor with a lean empties fast and trips faster. Under a tent (our high peak and frame tents include setup too), the floor centers on the layout so the band, the tables, and the traffic all make sense.
Logistics, the local version
Delivery to any Mount Dora address is the $59 flat rate — 4.8 road miles from our Eustis shop — with the exact figure at checkout. The historic district’s narrow sloped streets are familiar territory; we confirm truck access ahead of delivery day. Festival weekends fill the calendar first here, so wedding dates near the Arts Festival or Antique Fair should reserve early with the 25% deposit. Tables, chairs, and linens ride the same truck — one fee, one crew, one finished reception.
