Tent country
Sorrento is twelve road miles east of our Eustis shop on SR-46 — still inside the $59 flat-delivery zone — and honestly, it’s some of our favorite ground to work. Rural acreage, equestrian properties, the Red Tail golf community, Wolf Branch, Sorrento Springs, Heathrow Country Estates: this is open-ground territory where a full tent, tables, chairs, and dance floor setup has room to breathe. No parking negotiations, no narrow streets — just space.
What the properties here need
Two things make Sorrento jobs different, and we plan for both. First, long private drives — many unpaved. Tell us when you book and we send the right truck with the right clearance; a text with a photo of the drive saves everyone time. Second, wind: open fields and pasture catch it in a way tree-lined suburban yards don’t, so our crews stake deep and add ratchet lines on every open-field tent as standard.
The usual Sorrento order
Barn parties and pasture weddings book the 20×40 high peak or a frame tent up to 20×60, with banquet tables, folding or padded resin chairs, and often a dark walnut dance floor — installation included — under the canopy. Family gatherings on residential acreage run the 20×20 with a couple of 8-foot tables. A 10×10 ($250/day) covers the drink station. Tent setup and teardown are always in the price; table-and-chair placement is an optional paid add-on at checkout worth taking on large layouts.
Permits, rarely a problem here
Sorrento is unincorporated Lake County. Tents up to 900 square feet — everything through our 20×40 — are exempt from the Florida Fire Prevention Code, so the typical private-property event needs no permit at all. Larger tents or any side 30 feet and up take a Lake County permit and fire review, which we prepare and schedule around.
Straightforward numbers
$59 flat delivery to Sorrento and Mount Plymouth, never free, with the exact figure at checkout before you pay. Free customer pickup at the Eustis shop is twenty minutes away if you want to haul folding furniture yourself — but out here, where setups tend to be big, most folks let the crew do what the crew does.
