South Lake’s trail town
Minneola fronts Lake Minneola where the South Lake Trail — part of Florida’s 250-mile Coast-to-Coast Trail — runs the shoreline. We’re about twenty-eight road miles from our Eustis shop, a forty-six-minute run, so delivery lands around $109 for most addresses; your exact figure shows at checkout before you pay.
Trailhead Park: the friendliest venue rule in the county
Minneola Trailhead Park — seventeen acres at 315 Madison St with a pavilion, playground, and ball field — keeps its pavilions free-use, no permit required per the city. That’s rare, and it makes Trailhead the easiest pavilion party in south Lake County: we deliver tables and chairs inside park hours (dawn to dusk) and you skip the reservation paperwork entirely. For indoor events, the East Chester Street Park & Gymnasium rents its four-thousand-square-foot gym with kitchen through the city’s Recreation Department (352-394-3598, $200 deposit); the county’s Lake Minneola Park adds a swimming beach and grill pavilion on the water.
The Hills, and everything being built
The Hills of Minneola — the 1,883-acre master-planned district at Turnpike Exit 278 — plus Founders Ridge and Ardmore Reserve are filling with young families, and the order pattern shows it: birthday-party 20×20 high peaks, banquet tables, folding chairs, the occasional dance floor for a backyard quinceañera. Tent setup and teardown are always included; table-and-chair placement is a paid add-on at checkout; dance floor installation is included.
Permits in one paragraph
Private-property tents up to 900 square feet (through our 20×40) are exempt under the Florida Fire Prevention Code. Larger tents take a Lake County permit and fire review — we prepare it. City special events route through Minneola’s Recreation Department application, balances due fourteen days ahead per city policy — build your timeline around that if your event is public.
Distance math, honestly
At twenty-eight miles the fee is real. One combined order beats split deliveries, and free customer pickup at our Eustis shop remains the budget option for compact folding-furniture loads. Everything bigger — tents especially — belongs on our truck, with our crew staking it.
