Open ground changes the job
Tenting in Sorrento is different from tenting in town, and we treat it that way. Pastures and open fields around Mount Plymouth and Wolf Branch catch real wind — there’s no tree line or fence row to break it — so deep stakes and extra ratchet lines aren’t an option we sell you, they’re how we do every open-field install out here. Soft ground after rain gets checked before the truck rolls; nobody wants a stuck box truck as a party guest.
Sizes that suit the properties
This is where our big tents earn their keep. The 20×40 high peak is Sorrento’s most common order — reunions, barn parties, pasture weddings for 60 to 80 guests. Frame tents up to 20×60 stretch to 100-plus. The 20×20 covers residential-scale events in Sorrento Springs and Heathrow Country Estates, and a 10×10 ($250/day) is the shade-and-station piece. Every tent includes professional setup and teardown — on this terrain especially, that’s not a place to economize.
Getting to you
Long private drives are the local signature, plenty of them unpaved. It’s no obstacle — we deliver down them weekly — but tell us when you book: drive length, surface, gate widths, low branches. A photo texted ahead means we arrive with the right truck the first time. Sorrento sits twelve road miles from our Eustis shop via SR-46, inside the 15-mile flat zone, so delivery is $59 flat regardless of how long your driveway is.
Permits almost never apply
Unincorporated Lake County plus private property plus a tent at or under 900 square feet — which covers our 10×10 through 20×40 — means no permit, per the Florida Fire Prevention Code exemption. Cross 900 square feet or run any side 30 feet or longer and Lake County requires a permit with fire review; we handle that paperwork and set the install date around approval.
